Yes, you read it … leaves start falling from the trees and we can go on a little tour around Germany and Spain. Warming up with our friends from DORO, before we start gigging through the countries with US platinum rockers from TESLA. 4) Châlice on Video
As most of you already know, we did not only deliver new stuff for your ears, but this time we also try to catch your eye!

So, according to our social status, we bought (or did we just rent?) a stretch-limousine some nights ago, and were shooting the absolute decadent video for the first single, "Hollywood Daze".

It was, by the way, one of the greatest experiences this band has ever made, and we wish to give millions of thanx to everybody who took part in this thing, mostly of course to those who gave us a welcome on the St. Pauli Reeperbahn that Tokio Hotel can only dream of... you’re the Greatest, and we’re very proud of having fans like YOU!

Alright, that’s it for the moment. Now get yourself "BARE" and already invite some friends. See you at (your) home!

We did it: The video for the single "Hollywood Daze" has been shot after a very long night. We are waiting now for the final cut. We hope that we can present our masterpiece in the mid of July on MySpace, amongst others.



A big THANX and a huge praise to all the assistants, directors of photography, "Groupies", extras and of course the director – who accompanied us through the night, always unshaken. YOU ROCK!

This Friday, 22.06., our video for the track ‚Hollywood Daze’ will be recorded in the streets of Hamburg.

The track will be the first single of our new album called ‚Bare’, that will be released on Rockphone Records on the 10th of August.

Showbiz with big limousines and pretty girls, and a big dose of irony will control the Reeperbahn that night.

If you want to be part of it and want to give the video a little light with the appearance of your face, don’t hesitate to compete for a part as an extra in this video.

We hope you had a nice Easter, found all the eggs and are now ready for a real special present: We, the incredibly hard rockin' Châlice-Boys, have really done it:
After many of you people (probably especially YOU!) have always been begging us to make an acoustic CD finally, because you somehow seemed to like our instore-gigs and our little acoustic-parts during our shows, we decided, having said "no" for only some years, to surrender in the end. As we always say, it's YOU who keep this thing going, so who are we to ignore this little wish?

Alright, so what have we done on a wonderful weekend in March? We packed our acoustic guitars, our little piano and some nice percussion-toys together, entered the HASTINGS-studio in Hamburg and simply started playing, unable to stop for hours and hours. We were wandering through our own history, and songs that you already might have heard from us, have shown a pretty different character, mostly to our own surprise. Definitely Châlice, but definitely totally different! Oskar, the sound engineer, recorded everything with sensitive ears and fingers, and we decorated the whole thing with a nice little brass section (ok ok, we were very lucky to know two fantastic musicians who blew their souls away for us...thank you Miriam, thank you Rolf!).



The album is being mixed in these minutes by the best of the best, Mr. Dennis Ward, who already ennobled most of the original songs.

Ok, what else do we need?
Exactly, lots of bonus tracks, and that's why we present nearly everything here which we recorded earlier in the "acoustic style", so you will find almost forgotten pearls like "My own Paradise" or the almost-smash-hit "Hold on to the Years" and many more...and of course there's no Châlice-CD without at least one brandnew song! We're curious if you find out which one it is!

The album will be called "BARE" because we present ourselves undone, vulnerable and naked (however, we refrained from taking our clothes off for the photos... believe us, it's better this way!), it will be released on a brandnew label, and the details like exact release-date, price etc. are being discussed at the moment. Besides we're planning to go on stage with this new baby, but it is not completely impossible that there might be some electric guitars with us on stage:-)

Alright, we hope we have already made you a little bit curious by now. We'll be back soon with the last details, and you can already look forward to an extra-surprise for the truest and fastest among you!

you may have noticed that we took a short break, but we thought it's time to get back on the road right now.
And that's exactly what we're going to do: present our new album "SHOTGUN ALLEY" LIVE (did we already tell you we're a live-band?).

It's absolutely official now: Axel Hoffmann has taken over the keys from Burkhard and already left some people with open mouths (like us) while playing the SHOTGUN ALLEY-Release party and the October instore gigs with us!

Nevertheless, Burkhard and us are still friends as the split had nothing to do with personal or the famous musical differences but was only caused by problems in time-coordination.
We wish him all the best!

Hi Folks,

unfortunately today we have real depressing news for you which we haven´t quite realized ourselves yet:

- although we had a fixed agreement
- although there were only some details left to be arranged
- although we already had engaged our technical crew
- although you can read our name on all the posters and in all the announcements and advertisements,

and although it doesn´t make the least sense in our minds, at the moment it looks as if the Deep Purple/Alice Cooper tour, in which we had put all our hopes and our power, will take place without us!

The only reason that we are told is that there has obviously been a problem in communication between the organizer and the Deep Purple management. It seems as if somebody might not have been informed early enough and feels angry now about not having been asked as first. This discussion, that appears to us -if this is really the reason- as a little bit childish and ridiculous, is being carried out on our backs and leads to the consequence that Châlice is going to stay at home.

We are totally sorry about that, not only because no-one else would have loved to play this tour more than we did, but also because we know that at least some of you would have enjoyed the concerts even a little bit more because WE should be playing there, too. And to those of you who already bought tickets because of this, please don´t be angry with US but tell everybody out there that you miss us!

We promise that we try everything to get on another tour soon, we need to get on stage to spread the legend of the "Shotgun Alley". You know we´re a Live-Band and all we want to do is to party with you!
But to be honest, at this moment we´re really pissed off...

It´s time for some news again!
SHOTGUN ALLEY is definitely growing, we´ve recorded all the songs by now. Recording-Time in Karlsdorf and on Föhr were, thanx to Dennis Ward, very exciting and full of hard work again... and the result is a piece of music we´re really proud of!

At the moment, Dennis is working on the final mix and SHOTGUN ALLEY (Massacre Records) is announced to arrive in the stores on Oct 21.
And, surprise surprise, we have something very special for you this time: there will be a Bonus-CD with a Best Of-Compilation of all our previous releases (and even more...). So this is going to be a real double-CD this time. A thing we always wanted to do!

Hi Folks,

yes, we know it ourselves:
You didn´t hear anything from us for a long, long time. Our time-out until the next album has in fact become a little longer than we had planned, but in return for that we have some good news for you, as you can already see on this homepage.
We´ve got sensationel new songs in store which we will as usual refine together with Dennis Ward in his studio at the end of June.
In Massacre Records we´ve found a new, enthusiastic label and a tour is planned for autumn already. If everything works as we imagine, the album will be in the stores in October...
Keep your fingers crossed for us that we don´t have to face any more trouble this time!
Besides, we had to put up with some enervating business-nonsense and, by the way, had to change our rehearsal room after the old one had stood under water for three months and nothing could be saved (apart from the musicians, fortunately...)

But finally, we´re moving forward again with big steps, and now you can look forward to a real cool, new album. The exact release-date and details concerning the tour we will tell you step by step.
The first new photos will be available already at the end of April...
so look in again soon and get ready for "SHOTGUN ALLEY"!
